Maintenance Planner/Scheduler

·   Work with Hydrocarbons Units on managing Work Orders, defining the scope, estimating manpower, materials, equipment, and cost estimates. Lead Maintenance Planner as well as plan/schedule piping, electrical, and instrumentation jobs.

·   Plan/Schedule projects and follow job until completion. Supervise and train new employees as the Lead Planner over the Turner Group.

·   Analyze work notifications and work orders for clarity as to what is requested.

·   Contact originator to clear up points in question Plan jobs-includes a written plan of the materials, special tools, craft sequence, and time required to perform the job.

·   Maintain records, task lists, man-hours, engineering standards, safety requirements, and work performance for developing repetitive jobs.

·   Follow progress of selected jobs, seeking solutions to problem areas which delay work and seek improvements on the scheduled activities, checking materials, etc.

·   Take corrective action for controllable problems, suggest safety practices, and evaluates data for improving maintenance cost.

·   Initiate and lead weekly scheduled meetings.

·   Review and maintain the work order backlog to ensure accuracy at all times.

·   Review PM’s for accuracy, effectiveness, and efficiency and provide support to the Reliability Engineer to develop maintenance strategies for all equipment.
